Silences explores the quiet poetry that exists in pauses. Through tactile imagery, shifting light, and restrained movement, the film searches for frames that embody the rhythm and beauty of silence. The process became one of observing subtle textures and moments—allowing the visuals to breathe and creating a visual language where stillness itself becomes expressive.
"I read about this concept in Japanese philosophy, called ma (間), which refers to the space between things—a pause in time. These moments are exactly that: gentle gaps in space and time held by silence. I love these lil windows of peace. Embracing them, and sometimes even creating them for yourself, amidst all the noise. These silences are yours, and yours alone." -khushi
Anything that takes me back to creating visuals that speak for themselves, quite literally here through silences.
